Bobcat Sighting in Prescott Lakes AZ
Several sightings of bobcat kittens prompt Prescott Lakes subdivision residents to call the Arizona Game and Fish Department and other agencies. Residents were concerned that the two bobcats would not be able to survive on their own, since no bobcat mother had been seen.
However concerns about the kittens’ survival were laid to rest when a local licensed trapper concluded that the kittens are old enough to survive without their mother based on the size of their tracks.
An abundance of quail and rabbits on the well watered golf course in Prescott Lakes will provide these bobcat kittens with plenty of food.
This is just one example of the many wildlife encounters in Prescott AZ.
