Prescott AZ Real Estate Update January 20th

Property for sale in the “Mile High” town of Prescott AZ is a buyer’s market for the week ending in January 20th. Currently 2,057 Prescott homes are for sale with 359 of those homes in various stages of foreclosure procedures.
The median sales price for homes in Prescott AZ between September through November 2009 was $243,750 based off of 332 home sales during that time period. The average listing price of Prescott AZ properties was $431,704 which was a price drop of 0.4% compared with the week before January 20th.
However the lower housing prices seem to be stimulating Prescott home sales, as sales rose 49.5%.
