Home resales nation wide in September experienced a mini boom.

This was the largest monthly increase in 26 years due mainly to buyers rushing to buy real estate before the first-time home owners tax credit expired.

Real estate sales in September beat Wall Street forecasts and was the strongest in two years.  Nationwide sales rose, but especially in the West where there was a 13% real estate sales spike from the month prior.

First time home buyers interested in the tax credit have until November 30th to complete their sales.
