First time homeowners nationwide are excited about the recent push to pass the First Time Home Buyer Tax Credit bill in the House.

Last week, the House officially passed the bill extension of $8,000 tax credits into 2010 for military, diplomatic, and intelligence workers who have been working overseas.

Many Prescott AZ first time home buyers are encouraged that the regular First Time Home Buyer Tax Credit will be extended for regular citizens as well.

The hope for the extension would be to increase Prescott AZ real estate sales and help stabilize the nation’s real estate market.

Tim Anderson, a Prescott AZ real estate agent, can help any future first time AZ home buyers with any questions they might have about how this bill pass could possibly assist them with their real estate purchases in AZ.

My husband and I are first time homebuyers trying to buy a home – and I cannot tell you the stress that would leave us if they passed an extension. We put an offer in a foreclosed home and are praying that it is accepted before Oct. 20th. Otherwise we cannot purchase it. We are looking to that $8000 tax credit to help with the down payment.

I understand how much this will help you! I am confident that this will be extended as it is exactly the type of stimulus our economy needs. Good luck and congratulations. Tim Anderson
