A New Change on the Prescott AZ Education Landscape?

By tanderson • June 23rd, 2009

The Prescott, AZ higher education landscape may change in the foreseeable future.  Currently a couple of community colleges dot the Prescott, AZ landscape, but Northern Arizona University is proposing to add a campus in Prescott in an attempt to allow students access to programs around the state.

This proposal will be dependent on community demand and if the Prescott community is will to invest in the new educational facilities.

Having more campuses across the state would also allow each area to specialize on certain programs, which would help eliminate current duplicated programs.  Adding a new four year campus to any community is a great boost to the real estate market.
