Mother’s Day at Prescott’s Sharlot Hall Museum
The Sharlot Hall Museum is celebrating it’s 80th anniversary this year! To commemorate "The Mother of Arizona", Sharlot Mabridth Hall, the museum is offering a day packed with fun-filled and free events. Free lectures, free tours and a film will be available at the museum’s newly opened library and archive. Treat your mom to a day of fun and learning about Arizona’s history.
Date/Time: Sunday, May 11, 2008 10am-5pm
Place: Sharlot Hall Museum 415 W. Gurley, in Prescott, 2 blocks west of Courthouse Plaza

The Sharlot Museum is also holding a fundraiser event for their 80th anniversary. Join them at Sharlot’s Place for food, fun, music, an art auction and a silent auction. Hor d’ oeuvres will be served and music by jazz meisters and the Groovin’ High Jazz Group will highlight the evening. Proceeds will be used for the expansion of the museum.
