April is Water Prevention Month in Prescott, Are You “Water Smart”?
The City of Prescott is inviting citizens to join them in Water Awareness Month by participating in events, and reviewing monthly utility bills including your water smart cards. Prescott citizens can start saving money on bills by installing a "Water Smart" conversion kit for just $10. Kits are available at all April community events, and at the City Hall Utility bill pay station and the Utility Division on North Virginia Street.
Water conservation is an important issue for Arizona residents. Consider supporting the cause by joining the "Water Smart" movement. In doing so, you’ll save money, save water and support community outreach programs. You can get more information about Water Smart by visiting the display (April 15 - November 1 in the Viewery) at the Prescott Public Library, visiting the City Hall stations or by attending one of the following events:
- April 19, 8-10 AM: Granite Creek Clean-up
- April 19: Earth Day at Granite Creek Park
- April 26, 11AM to 4PM: Native Plant Sale Highlands Center for Natural History
- May 16th 18th Home and Garden Show at Prescott Valley’s Tim’s Toyota Center, YCCA
