Still Time to Find Out What Prescott 2050 is All About

The Prescott 2050 Visioning Committee is holding their last recruitment session tomorrow!

When: Sunday March 9th, 1-3pm
Where: The Rowle P. Simmons Community Adult Center

Volunteer your time to help shape Prescott’s future!  Some of the topics concerning "Everybody’s Hometown" are:

  • Economic development
  • Prescott Entrance guidelines
  • Consistent signage design
  • Regional smart growth planning
  • Sustainability of Resources
  • Transportation
  • Public Safety
  • City Buildings
  • Youth
  • Downtown Development & Ambiance
  • Water
  • Housing
  • Open Space
  • Cultural Affairs
  • Older Population
  • Climate

Dr. William Arnold, chair of the visioning committee, is looking for a minimum of eight people to focus on each topic.  Although visioning to 2050 seems a long way off - the group is just looking for any ideas, short or long term, and those willing to commit their time to helping better Prescott. Join in and share your ideas to help us better our community!  All are welcome.
