Prescott Health Care Options
The City of Prescott offers a full menu of health care services. More than 150 practicing physicians provide service to the area, over 40 dentists, approximately 30 chiropractors and a large number of specialists.
The Yavapai Regional Medical Center (YRMC), provides full service health care. It is a locally owned and operated not-for-profit center. Three Prescott locations will cover all your needs: YRMC West, YRMC East and the Del W. Webb Outpatient Center. To date, no property taxes have been levied to pay for hospital programs, improvements or expansion projects. YRMC offers the comfort of a community hospital along with superior care and technology services. The state-of-the-art heart center offers an incredible new cardiac surgery program which aims to improve patient health and quality of life.
Excellent health care is also provided by the staff of the Prescott VA Medical Center located at Fort Whipple. In addition, fine nursing homes, personal care homes and adult day care centers are also available.
