Proposed Lake Valley Business Park Could Become Home for Prescott Valley Small Business Owners

Terry Clayton, a Prescott Valley real estate investor, hopes that the concept of condominium warehouse development will take flight in Prescott AZ.  Clayton recently proposed a new project to the Planning and Zoning Commission - it was voted 7-0 to forward the preliminary plat to the Prescott Town Council.  The Lake Valley Business Park would be located on a five acre parcel just west of Lake Valley Road and South of Highway 69.

The project will target local small business owners that want to own commercial space rather than rent.  Available spaces may be as small as 600 sqft.  Common space will be maintained by a condo association. While the association would maintain the building, owners would own from the interior walls in.  Town planners would like to see three stipulations met before the project is considered:

  • Water supply verification
  • Approval on fire code regulations
  • Provision for a traffic study

Look for available space in this business park as soon as August of 2008!
