The Prescott, AZ higher education landscape may change in the foreseeable future.  Currently a couple of community colleges dot the Prescott, AZ landscape, but Northern Arizona University is proposing to add a campus in Prescott in an attempt to allow students access to programs around the state. 

This proposal will be dependent on community demand and if the Prescott community is will to invest in the new educational facilities.

Prescott Valley Days kicked off this week for its 31st year. 

This is Prescott Valley AZ signature event of the year and a motorcycle show on Saturday will be a new addition to the festivities. 

The majority of the events will take place at the Prescott Valley Town center in the Entertainment District and the highlights will include the carnival, the Mile High Tractor Show and Pull, a parade, and various concerts.

This year Prescott AZ High School Students earned and impressive $1,891,489 in scholarship money this year.

Prescott AZ summer concert schedule will have a few changes this summer. 

This summer concert series has entertained Prescott AZ locals on the Yavapai County Courthouse Plaza in past summers, and will continue to do so this summer, despite rumours of city events cutbacks.

Local musical acts such as the Lynx Creek Cloggers, Mile High square Dancers, and the Central Arizona Concert Band will be preforming this year. 

Some of this years changes will include band changes and an additional concert in the series.
